Karl completed his pharmacy degree at the Université de Montréal. He has been a pharmacist since 2010 and has always been interested in the benefits that technology could bring to patients, particularly in the monitoring of compliance " Non-compliance can result in an array of adverse consequences for the patient: worsening symptoms, disease evolution, occurrence of other diseases. That doesn't include the societal implications: increase in complications and hospitalizations, increased work absences. Supported by our software, we are able to target patients who are less adherent to their treatment and conduct appropriate follow-up. We can prevent problems ahead of time".

Benoît completed his pharmacy studies at the Université de Montréal and obtained his license in 2010. In collaboration with Karl Desjardins, he wanted to implement a pharmacy concept that would both reduce the burden on his patients, and have a significant impact on pharmaceutical care in Quebec: "We realize that we can do more for our patients : automated refill reminders by email or SMS, home or office delivery for patients with time constraints or reduced autonomy, and even the proactive management of expired prescriptions from the doctor. However, ultimately, we want to direct our efforts towards developing a technological tool that will assist pharmacists in their cost-benefit analysis of all medication records, and this will benefit the patient and society in general".
